The 401 coarse tooth hole saws are quite similar to the 400 series with the notable exception that they have fewer and deeper teeth. This type is more suitable for thick material and faster cutting where better chip flow is required. Also used on plastics, laminated woods, aluminum, steel or other materials.

Diameters 3/8” through 1-1/4” – 5/16-24 thread.
Diameters 1-5/16 through 4” –1/2-20 thread
